Creating shapes in a format from projections of objects:

Maps of my life:

I listed the things that I have done and what I intent to do in my:

Life events:
  • Travel
  • university/ leaving home.
  • Find a place to live
  • get married(hopefully)
  • Have children (hopefully)
  • meet new people.
Career events:
  • University
  • get a job
  • Learn
  • start a business
  • Make mistakes to learn from
  • Experiment and take risks.
My Maps:
I made my life map from a family tree like graph. My career line starts narrow but is straight with purpose of success. They higher up the map it grows with population; this represents the a bigger wealth of important people and of knowledge.

The blue line resembles my desired calm approach to life. It being a river can resemble going with the 'flow' of life. I chose it because in life you go through difficult times but it is important to learn from them and reflect on them but you should leave them behind you. The bends in the river reflect because in life you know that those things have happened and sometimes they are appart of you but when you look down a bend you cant see that part of the journey because you have already passed through it. The career line resembles options.

The Unilever Series.

The Unilever series is an exhibition where artists can exhibit in the Turbine Hall. It started in year 2000.

Olafur Eliasson
The Weather Project 2003

This exhibition I feel was successful because of its close connection to the behaviour of British people. I feel that weather is something that affects peoples moods and behaviours and will encourage two strangers to comunicate with each other about something that its clear but they address it all the same.
